The Wyoming School Foundation established the WHS Distinguished Alumni Award in 2002 for those graduates who have gained unique distinction through success in one or more of the following areas:

Achievement
The true measure of a high school’s greatness is found in the achievements of its alumni. In its history, Wyoming High School has educated thousands of students who have developed into outstanding leaders in many fields, professions and endeavors.
Experience
When high school students experience a first-hand account of success and accomplishments of WHS alumni who went before them, it is a meaningful and inspiring experience that highlights the excellent education provided by the Wyoming Schools.
Involvement
The Distinguished Alumni Award further illustrates the great value of the academic programs and student involvement at Wyoming High School, and increases the pride that alumni, and all students, staff and faculty have for our schools.
Foundation Day
The Distinguished Alumni Award, which is presented on Foundation Day, provides the opportunity for current student body, teachers, staff, and the community to benefit from the teaching and experiences of distinguished alumni.
The award recognizes alumni who demonstrate the power of the Wyoming School education to the people of Ohio, the nation, and the world.
